–As stated on the MOGOP website….” ALL CAUCUS PARTICIPANTS MUST BE STRONG AND FAITHFUL REPUBLICANS. YOU MAY ONLY PARTICIPATE IN THE CAUCUS IN THE COUNTY IN WHICH YOU ARE REGISTERED TO VOTE”
–Skip the caucus-day registration line by pre-registering online here: https://www.missouri.gop/election-2016/. Simply fill out the registration form and show up at your caucus with your photo ID. ”
–At the caucuses, attendees will vote on the individual delegates to attend the Congressional District Conventions and the State Convention.
–Unlike 2012, MO national delegates will be bound based on the results of the presidential preference primary on March 15, 2016. Additionally, the state party will, for the first time, require all local caucuses to follow a single set of rules.* This will further streamline the process, reduce tension among attendees, and ensure that all participants know what to expect before they attend. *RULES http://www.missouri.gop/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/2016LocalRules.doc-1.pdf
–At the caucus, changes to the Missouri GOP platform can be submitted! All suggested amendments must be typed or printed and include the name, signature, registered voting address, and telephone number of the person submitting the motion. Only suggestions receiving a majority vote of the caucus will be forwarded to the Missouri Republican State Committee’s Platform Committee and the Congressional District Convention(s) of the local caucus area.
