The Memo and Trump’s Coming Counter Insurgency
Yesterday, the House Intelligence Committee voted to release the four-page memo written by Congressman Devin Nunes (often called the “Nunes Memo”). This starts a five-day process by which President Trump can either approve or reject the release of the memo. President Trump is expected to support the release of the memo.
And Grassfire team members played an important role in this (details below).
+ + What’s in the memo?
We’ll find out soon what exactly is in the memo which Rep. Steve King called “worse than Watergate” and Rep. Matt Gaetz says shows that the Mueller investigation is “a lie built on corruption.” According to Daily Caller…
While lawmakers are prohibited from discussing the allegations contained in the document, it is said to claim that top FBI and DOJ officials relied on the unsubstantiated Steele dossier to obtain a warrant from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court to spy on Carter Page, an energy consultant who served on the Trump campaign.
If the memo confirms what we’ve suspected — that the “Russia collusion” investigation was largely based on the bogus Steele dossier — then the entire house of cards of the Mueller investigation could come down quickly, along with a thorough house cleaning at the FBI.
+ + What’s next on the memo…
With the Committee having voted, we actually have more reason to believe this is truly a BLOCKBUSTER, GAME-CHANGING memo because the dominoes have already begun to fall.
First, yesterday, just prior to the vote on releasing the memo, Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe “retired.” Is there a connection to the release of the memo? Many pundits think so. On Sunday, FBI Director Christopher Wray went to Capitol Hill to review the memo personally. Journalist Sara Carter Sean Hannity last night that Wray was “shocked to the core” by the contents of the memo. Then yesterday midday, Wray paid a visit to the White House, at about the same time news broke on McCabe’s “retirement.” Coincidence? We think not.
So the first “domino” is McCabe.
+ + Watch for THIS in tonight’s SOTU Address…
Tonight during the State of the Union Address, it is possible that President Trump will formally announce that he is supporting the release of the memo as he uses the platform of this address to strike back in force against the year-long “Russia collusion” witch hunt. If the President does this, it would more evidence that President Trump is using the presidency in ways his predecessors never dared to.
Next, we are waiting for an Inspector General’s report on how the FBI handled the Clinton email investigation as the layers of the Obama-Clinton cover-up and abuse of power get peeled back one-by-one. It’s likely going to get worse for the real conspirators in the Deep State FBI and even to Team Clinton. Here’s what former Bush II Press Secretary Ari Fleisher told Hannity last night:
“I have regularly defended Bob Mueller. I used to defend James Comey on his investigation of Hillary. I can no longer do that. I think the investigation into Hillary has turned out to be a sham…In this instance, the FBI has let us all down.”
+ + President Trump goes on the attack…
So watch the SOTU address tonight closely. If the President confronts his attackers directly tonight, then he is signaling that he believes he has the “smoking gun” exposing the real conspiracy of the Deep State FBI and even justification for a counter-insurgency threat reaching to the Clinton Cabal and even Obama designed to push the Democrats away from the “Russia collusion” drumbeat.
But if it doesn’t happen tonight, the President’s formal release of the FBI memo will come in the next few days, and it will likely be loud and confrontational.
How do we know? Because this is who this president is, and it’s what makes him uniquely equipped for the task of making our nation great again. This is precisely what I outline in my new book, Making The Presidency Great Again.get the book here
I really want every concerned citizen to have this resource, so you can be armed with the truth. We’re expecting the printed copies to arrive at our offices NEXT WEEK. Go here now to pre-order your copies of Making America Great Again in appreciation of your contribution of ANY AMOUNT to help Grassfire build.
Finally, thanks to every Grassfire team member who helped press this “Release The Memo” issue. Grassfire team members were among the most active groups engaged in letting their voices be heard. Here’s a summary of what the Grassfire team did in just a few days:
–You helped rally 10,286 petitions demanding that the memo be released;
–You helped deliver 4,284 faxes, primarily to the GOP members of the House Intelligence Committee who ultimately voted to release the memo;
–You helped record a total of 447,097 citizen engagements* on this issue.
What are the lessons in all this? First, the truth matters. Second, what you and I do matters. Thanks for being part of the answer as we work to make our nation great again!
