The REAL Facebook scandal
This week, Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg will appear before two congressional committees to discuss revelations that Facebook has lost control of the data of millions (or even billions) of users.
Facebook’s abuse of user privacy is an outrage that must be addressed. But unless we take action, the REAL Facebook scandal will not even be discussed by the House or the Senate.
What is the REAL scandal? The fact that Facebook has joined other “lords” of Silicon Valley in systematically targeting and censoring conservative speech!
+ + Facebook’s systematic “ideological warfare”
It’s been happening over many months. Earlier this year, Facebook announced a major change to its algorithm that took conservative posts out of your news feed. Zuckerberg said the change was made to promote “news that is trustworthy, informative, and local.” FOXNews’ Tucker Carlson called the change “ideological warfare.”
Here at Grassfire we have seen firsthand for many years the negative impact of Facebook’s algorithm changes, as our pages and posts “coincidentally” reach a smaller and smaller audience. Facebook also allows less and less traffic to move from Facebook to our Grassfire home page.
But if you need more evidence, consider what Facebook recently did to Breitbart, one of the largest conservative news sites in the nation.
Facebook is now tagging every post that links to a Breitbart story with an “about this article” info bubble that calls Breitbart a “far-right” website, and then says:
Clearly, Facebook has an open agenda to undermine conservative news outlets!+ + Facebook allowed Obama to access “entire social network” of U.S.!
We also now know that Facebook allowed the Obama campaign to extract from Facebook “the entire social network of the U.S.”, according to an Obama campaign staffer.
Clearly, Facebook, Google and others are conducting “ideological warfare” against conservatives. But unless we take action, Congress will give Zuckerberg a pass next week during the House and Senate hearings.
We want to rush at least 25,000 petitions to Congress in time for next week’s hearings. Please go here now to automatically add your name to Grassfire’s “Stop Targeting Conservatives” petition with ONE CLICK:

This is critical.
We must demand that Congress investigate the “lords” of Silicon Valley and their practice of censoring conservative speech. Go here now to sign, and please alert your friends.
The “Stop Targeting Conservatives” petition states:
I am calling on Facebook, Google, Apple and other Silicon Valley elites to stop the practice of targeting and discriminating against conservative and pro-liberty individuals and organizations. I am also calling on Congress to investigate the practices of Silicon Valley that specifically target conservative free speech.
