These 7 GOP Senators Might as Well Switch Parties (Re: Obamacare Repeal)
Over the past week millions of Americans have hammered the phones, social media accounts, inboxes and fax machines of four liberal Republicans in the Senate. It was widely believed two might possibly flip to a yes vote on Obamacare repeal, giving it room to pass as promised to voters in the past couple of election cycles.
But the Senate, not willing to stand for principle and the American taxpayers as a body, ended up defeating the clean Obamacare repeal. The defeated repeal didn’t lose by one or two votes.
It was destroyed by 7 Republicans.
Senators Dean Heller (R-NV), Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV), Susan Collins (R-ME), John McCain (R-AZ), Lamar Alexander (R-TN), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), and Rob Portman (R-OH) voted against Sen. Paul’s clean Obamacare repeal bill. All of these senators except for Sen. Collins voted to rescind Obamacare in 2015.
What’s the difference between 2015 and yesterday’s vote?
Simple. In 2015 it had no chance of being signed into law by then President Barrack Obama. This time it would have been signed into law by President Donald Trump.
And the 7 Senators listed above just couldn’t allow that to happen.
Do you realize what just happened? These Senators literally just admitted to being fraudulent. That’s right, they’ve committed a blatant form of fraud.
Think that’s too harsh? Well let’s look at an actual definition of fraud.
Fraud: a person or thing intended to deceive others, typically by unjustifiably claiming or being credited with accomplishments or qualities.
There is no way to sugarcoat that. They flat out lied. They lied to the very people they’re elected to represent.
With Republicans like these, who needs Democrats? Why don’t these fraudsters just switch parties and get it over with? Or, is this what the GOP is now? Just a slightly different brand of Democrat?
