  • Even the most juvenile of Senate Democrats know that they can’t block Trump’s nominations.  Harassment of the nominees is nothing but a dog and pony show meant to entertain the base.

The most controversial of Trump’s picks is his unflappable SCOTUS nominee, Neil Gorsuch.  Once again, Dems will likely rough him up some, but they’ll do so at the r…[Read more]

I feel your pain about Chicago. I set up and sold at trade shows at the Marriott Hotel for a housewares firm back in the ’80s. I remember the once coveted blue collar neighborhoods of the city’s South Side along South Pulaski Rd. The chronic news junkie that I’ve always been, I have my finger on the pulse of Chicago, though I’ve never actually…[Read more]

  • Eric: Are you saying that the system is now capable of reading topical keywords (tags?), i.e. Obamacare-Islam-Pelosi- Trump etc., to automatically move comments to more appropriate forum topics?  Or are members responsible for choosing the best forum?  Or both?

Dear Fellow Members– As a Premier member of Grassfire, I’ve just faxed a tough love message to my Congressman via Faxfire. The topic: Repealing Obamacare. I encourage all of you to do the same.

Once again, some Congressional Republicans are failing on a consensus on how and when to repeal this corrupt law. Incredible as it seems, some tone dea…[Read more]

Dear Fellow Members– I’ve just finished faxing a tough love message to my Congressman via Faxfire. The topic: Repealing Obamacare. I encourage all of you to do the same.

Once again, Congressional Republicans still can not bond over a consensus on how and when to repeal this corrupt law. Incredible as it seems, some tone deaf GOP Reps…[Read more]

Message To All Grassroots Members: I’ve just faxed my Senator in Colorado, Corey Gardener, literally WARNING him not cave on Obama’s SCOTUS nominee. I used my “Premier” status on Grassfire, so the fax was free. Please– Premier member or not, FAX your Senators now. Tell them not to cave on Mitch McConnell’s promised delay of SCOTUS nomination…[Read more]

He’s stumbling badly, although there’s no clear evidence of widespread defection, yet. His latest volley, pontificating on the alleged corruption of time-honored delegate rules, was little more than a pep rally held for the Trump camp itself. Trump knows he’s reached a point where he can’t win many new converts. He’s vigorously trying to…[Read more]

Bingo. It is a sad commentary that even one voter anywhere would embrace this vixen as a qualified for the Presidency. But then, the same tragic drama played out with Barack Obama. Twice. We have our work cut out for us.

Yes, Hillary lied under oath. Time-stamped emails prove it. Yes, she did send & receive classified emails through an unsecured server. Even she can’t deflect the obvious.

The riddle now—How serious is the Justice Department? Is this really a smokescreen? Remember– the FBI answers to the DOJ, whose department head, the Attorney General, s…[Read more]

@rickmann Tried but failed to access Fax-fire, a benefit available to Premium members. Response said I’m not eligible to access the page. Also, I’m still tripping over the system– where does one go in to submit a blog?

Great post, Sarge. I’ve posted ad nauseam on this urgent point. Even here, last week– Obama won the popular vote in 2012 by just under 5-million ballots, a number painfully close the estimated number of registered Republicans who didn’t vote that year.

    • I saw on FaceBook the number of people who didn’t vote for Romeny just because of his religion or because his stand on birth control wasn’t strong enough. So they helped elect a muslim who is for abortions. And then they complain about who they helped get elected.

The Syria claim– yet another low water mark of a failed presidency. Obamacare crumbling, Climate Change gaining little traction at home, broad amnesty for illegal aliens now on hold, thirty-seven percent polled believing the country to be headed in the wrong direction, a screaming majority of Americans feeling we’re losing the fight against…[Read more]

As wisely observed on another site, Soros is getting nervous. He’s not used to such vigorous pushback, especially from a Republican.

Sounds anecdotal and trite, by Republicans must try harder to disagree without being disagreeable. Trump catches heat for setting this year’s tone, but it happened in 2012 as well. Worst offender then was front-runner and eventual nominee Romney. But Perry, Gingrich and Pawlenty were bad too.

@ericodom Eric: Thanks for replying, but disregard. Problem solved. Tech came by for another matter– he walked us through it this morning. Problem was an old version of Java. Tech updated for us, then successfully signed up for “Premier.” That “Ajax” alert appears to be Java’s server. Again, thanks.
    again, all’s working now.

@rickmann Rick– Can you help? Tried signing up for Grassfire Premier. Hitting “SUBMIT,” and a box appears with an “Ajax Warning.” Tried a different credit card, same thing happens. Then went into Compatibility (on my PC) and added Grassfire.com. Didn’t help. Same “Ajax Warning” appears. Also,
configuration now messed up with texts…[Read more]
